My Story
My name is Michal (Olga) Vinnik. I am an experienced Registered Nurse and a Lactation Consultant (RN, BSN, IBCLC), and have been in the field of nursing for over 20 years. In the beginning of my career I gained experience in the Neonatal ICU and delivery room. In 2001, after moving to Boston, I began working at the Cambridge Hospital's maternity units, helping mothers bond with their babies and achieve their lactation goals.
In 2015, after being certified as a Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), I took a position at the Boston Medical Center, where I helped develop the NICU lactation program, working with all types of babies and the most complicated cases. During my time at the Boston Medical Center, I participated in state-wide program to increase the use of human milk in all Massachusetts hospitals.
In 2016, I moved to Passaic, NJ, and became a lactation consultant for Englewood Hospital and also opened a private practice, and now serving, helping, and educating the mothers of North Jersey and beyond.
My philosophy is listening to mother and understanding ways to help in the best way, using combination of my experience, evidence-based practices, and a warm human touch.
